JJ Smart Co ("we", "us") runs the online store at jjsmartco.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit or buy from us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it simple: we only collect what we need to get your order to you and to look after you as a customer.

1. What we collect

Order details: your name, email address, phone number (if you give it), and shipping and billing addresses.
Payment details: handled securely by Shopify's checkout and its payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.
Messages you send us: for example, emails about an order, a question or a return, including any photos you attach.
Device and browsing information: such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you view and items you add to your cart, collected through cookies and similar tools.

2. How we use it

To process, ship and track your order, and to send order and shipping updates.
To answer your questions and handle returns, refunds and cancellations.
To prevent fraud and keep our store and checkout secure.
To understand how our store is used so we can improve it.
To send you marketing emails, only if you choose to sign up. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

3. Who we share it with

We share your information only with the companies that help us run the store and deliver your order:

Shopify, which hosts our store and checkout. You can read the Shopify Privacy Policy.
Payment providers, to process your payment.
Suppliers and shipping carriers. Some items are shipped to you directly by our trusted retail suppliers, so we share your name, shipping address and order details with them only to deliver your order.
Authorities, if the law requires it, or to protect our rights and customers.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies

Our store uses cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences and understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the store, like the cart, may not work without them.

5. How long we keep it

We keep order information for as long as we need it to fulfill your order, handle returns, and meet tax and accounting requirements. We delete or anonymize information we no longer need.

6. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act and similar US state laws, you may have the right to:

Ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it.
Ask us to correct or delete it.
Opt out of marketing emails and of the use of your information for targeted advertising.

To make a request, email us at hi@jjsmartco.com. We may need to confirm your identity first. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

7. Children

Our store is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Keeping it safe

We use Shopify's secure, encrypted checkout and limit access to your information to what is needed. No method of sending or storing data is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect yours.
